Many gaming communities I've visited have a Teamspeak 3 Server to accompany their gaming servers. This allows quick communication between players by voice, and with separate lobbies for different servers. What if that were to be implemented into AtWar? Instead of having to type out plans, you can save your precious turn time and explain it vocally to your allies! Players could simply create a custom channel for their game. This may be more useful in Coalition Wars, but I think that it would work well with the nature of the game. Teamspeak is completely free, but the servers are not, unfortunately. You can go check it out, or, install it and try it for yourself here: https://www.teamspeak.com/
Another thing: I don't know if this is possible, in fact I doubt it is, but if a custom channel could be created for every Coalition War when the game itself is hosted, and that is somehow advertised automatically in that game, that could contribute not only to coalition performance in tournaments and such, but also bring players closer together under their coalition, in a sense. Just a thought

This is a great idea, I used to use teamspeak for another game I played, and we had up to 30 people in one server at a time. It's easy to use and certainly does bring people closer together as a community. It could be interesting seeing two teams in two different channels in the same clan war knowing that they are planning something in their locked room.

Teamspeak is relatively inexpensive. I believe it is less than 100$ a YEAR

I imagine that would be up to the AtWar Staff.

Anyone could make their own server. And whoever pays would be the owner. I don't think the AW team will be spending any more money on this any time soon.
