Edit Default Borders

Hello! I want to edit default Map Borders on the Default Map on Map Editor, but i find it too difficult. For example, i want to combinate two countries in one, i do it but i can't delete their between borders. Does exist any option that i miss or it is just so difficult to edit default borders? Thanks in advance!

You got to delete and redraw it there is no other way.
