average SP per player
Do you guys also include the turn duration in the calcs?
Endsieg for example, drops between 2k-6k SP in 30 turns (assuming your team die and you killed everybody else), but the dimension of the map are so big that you require 6 minutes per turn. At turn 30 you've already played for three hours but mods reduced the SP earned to 50% of the map...
bs I can play Endsieg with normal 5 mins just fine even with 4 mins actually
Should I assume that you've only played the Italian front in Endsieg? Because it's the only one that can be played good with 5 minutes...
Rest of the fronts (specially northeastern one) are just a mess. you've got tons of cities (most of them with <=8 reinf), lots of troops to buy, lots of walls to break (or make) and managing a bunch of stacks and individual armies in all the screen. It's just impossible to accomplish that with 5 minutes. IMO, even 6 minutes is few if you're playing OST.

People threatening you because the sp got lowered? Are you kidding me? Those are some nice friends you got there, you might want to take good care of them before they try to stab you during your nap
Idk how much fighting there has been so I can't have an opinion about any specific game you show. As ghost-face mentioned, we'd need the statistics of the game.
Why do I got the chills he was referring to me?
I never even played his map lolz

5 mins is more than enough for any front, italian can be played in 3 mins tbh after t1

Just accept it. The decision isn't going to change no matter how much you complain about it or how illogical the original decision was.
Things like needs for SP reductions are inherently subjective, whereas the method that the moderator team applies in determining the SP reduction is (mostly) objective. There are bound to be unjust results here and there, but objective is still the ideal way to do SP reductions.
I strongly disagree with the spirit of Meester's remark, but I do agree with the conclusion that the moderator team eventually ended up drawing. A 50% or a 75% multiplier is fair, assuming the accuracy and precision of Meester's statistics. Whether or not that modifier is just or reasonable is first, impossible to determine and second, completely irrelevant.
EDIT:

This needs to happen. Number of minutes the game lasted for and the average number of player-versus-player battles should both be important considerations in the SP-reduction process.
Since we're going to be subject to the harsh justice of statistics, we might as well make it a bit kinder.

mfw njab I though you only had one alt...
(Let alone OST)
P.S: If you ever think that some people are slow, imagine that Eu players manages a lot less of cities and they still need full 4 minutes [which is not even enough in west v east fights]...
P.S.2: I'm a quite fast player, able to play any standard Eu west country in 2 minute duels. I think 6 minutes is just the fair for Endsieg. Other players though....

You can play dumb like the average scenario player such as cive with 3 minutes or less. But if you want to play smart you need at least 6 minutes, specially if you play it on the eastern front.

Turn duration is a negligible variable when it comes to setting the sp multiplier. If there is a large enough sample of plays then the average sp gained will be a fairly decent rough approximation. This isn't and doesn't need to be an exact science. The whole multiplier feature was introduced to prevent players from gaining obscene amounts of sp from single maps. The op obviously had a legitimate complaint here(but not with poor meester) and it is sorted. End of story.

If they only play your map for the SP then they don't care about your map, but merely the SP it gives.
I agree with this 25% multiplier.
Then maybe we should give 0% SP to all non-approved custom maps.
That would resolve these issues.
