Probably already been suggested but...

Everyone always says "No first turn attacks" and gets annoyed if someone does not follow this. Why not just finally make an option that disables first turn attacks on already owned property?

Yes. this would be really useful especially for Tournament games or CWs.

Not possible if i'm correct; the way you stated at least. Making peace default first turn is much easier.

1st turn attack is not an issue now, 1st turn WF is. I'm sure that that adds coding nightmares for amok, but noobs be hating on the 1st turn wfs.

In some scenarios and maps, 1st turn attack is necessary.

Agreed rae i agree with you, but capping the cap the first turn isnt typically. Meh just throwing ideas out.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe first turn WFs were originally not allowed, as first turn peace was broken after the game created the walls. It calculated your walls as if you're at peace, and then breaks peace with all walls intact (as two guys at peace can't WF). Now, however, peace is broken before the walls, so you're already atWar by the time the walls are created, making first turn WFs totally possible.

I'd support going back to the old system, if possible.

To clarify, when I said first turn WFs, I meant first turn WFs in people's countries, which used to be impossible with just one unit. I agree that it's fine in other countries.
