With pd
how do i start to expand with infantry or with tanks?

Infantry, you should never use tanks with PD really.

If you have too much money later in the Game, you can use Bombers for a faster offense, or Marines because they are not weakend. But normally you should Use big Stacks of Inf

Infantry and bombers, don't make many tanks.

I checked the PD stats and theres no nerf on the "Marines" offensive unit.

Bombers cost too much for PD, use tanks.

Btw Trust AlexMeza... he knows a lot about PD stuff, so you can count on him a lot.

Never use tanks in the beginning though, maybe if you have a lot of money , recruit a bit of tanks but NOT A lot.

Also just spam Infantry and push forward wherever you think your oponent will hit next.

I've only lost about 2 games in the past week, and won about 7. My number of wins shall soon be greater than my number of losses.

Ive tried PD a few times but i dont get how you are supposed to use it except mass infantry spam.

Its "okay" for taking out neutrals and lightly defended targets, but if your opponent has taken and is fortifying a capital, you cant take it with infantry spam unless you have a massive economy advantage (or you just caught him with his pants down).

Against tank generals ive found that they tend to ignore my infantry stacks (since attacking them is pretty much suicide) and just bypass them to hit my lightly defended cities. The only times i could force a battle where i had the advantage was if i happened to be reinforcing a city which my opponent was attacking.

Pairing bombers with infantry just results in bombers dying first followed by your ineffective infantry attacking.

Moving infantry up to the front line as reinforcements is also pretty difficult unless you've got infinite money for lots of air transports.

Infantry worked best for me in a low cash game where i started with 5k cash, since they were so cost effective. In the 50k cash games i see everywhere though, people just mass spam tanks/bombers/air transports and run circles around a PD player.

Tanks have 7 attack per 120 spent
infantry have 8 attack per 120 spent, plus you will have 2 infantry that get the + attack bonus from the general, instead of only one tank.
you are also at an advantage because you will have the leftover of you attack ready to defend.

Tank generals have tanks with 8 attack though...

And im talking about tank generals vs PD (since tank generals simply choose not to attack your infantry stacks). What are you talking about?

Also how is a PD player supposed to kill huge stacks of militia? Attacking it with infantry is sucide because you pay 60 gold for a infantry with 4 attack while your opponent is paying 30 gold for a militia with 4 defence. He can just park a huge stack outside your capital and force you to spend tons of gold fortifying it.

That's where the use of my tanks come in.
This is where you have to think about practicality, Question.
If you have 50K. Which are you going to buy. A bunch of militia with 3 attack or a bunch of marines with 7 attack? (Assuming you aren't using a strategy.)
It just isn't realistic to find someone spamming you with militia, I've never seen it happen unless it's a Guerrilla Warfare user, and even then you won't see them using 100 militia like you seem to be describing.
Bottom line: What you're suggesting just isn't realistic.

If you had only $5, you couldn't buy shit. (But I'm assuming you meant 5K, so I'll answer that as well. )
In that case, you would buy militia, but only because you have to. If you can, you're going to buy the better unit likes tanks, because they go farther than other land units.
Because tanks go farther than infantry, that's why. It's more effective using tanks than infantry.

Right and PD penalizes tanks.

Just tried PD again and its just so god awful. My opponent sees me walking slowly across the map with 30+ infantry and just builds cheaper militia in his capital while waiting for me to attack, then he just ignores the infantry and goes for my cities. I have nothing that can beat his defending militia cost for cost, so i lose. I have no decent attack options other than spamming marines/bombers all of which costs crap tons of money and still loses to militia.

On average, 2 marines will beat 2 militia, and in some cases, 1 marine will beat 2 militia.
But that's besides the point.

That's why you don't use infantry to attack, you use tanks. The only nerf is 1 attack point. Use the infantry to attack neutral capitals, then use tanks to attack the player countries, along with a stack of infantry so you can keep the city.

Let me go find a PD strategy guide and put it in the strategy forum.

I don't think you're getting what we're trying to say.
~Assuming you have no strategy selected.~
Tanks cost 120, and have 8 attack each.
Militia cost 30 each, and have 4 defense each.

It takes less tanks to destroy militia.
3 tanks, 24 total possible attack, vs 3 militia, 12 total possible defense.
The tanks are going to win pretty much any situation where they're on the offense.

And say instead of 3 militia, it's 5.
5*4=20
The tanks still win out.

The same goes for marines.
In this, and every, scenario, the tanks/marines will beat the militia.

Now of course if you use 2 tanks to attack a stack of 20 militia, you're going to lose the tanks. But do you ever see that happen? I don't think so.
Whenever someone's attacking, if they can, they'll try to match or surpass the unit count of the defenders.

Back when I was a noob, I used PD all the time, and I never used a single tank. It was either Marines, Bombers, or Infantry if I wanted to attack something. When I bought subs, I used them, too.
