Lol, i had similar experience with my mother when i was young. She said gypsies smell, russian girls cheat, i shouldn't dare to marry non-christians like catholic or muslims and moldavian girls are best wives because they are submissive. I was also shocked, but then realized she's just conservative... or maybe not. Long story short i married elementary school love, best to play safe.
