~Meester and I perform many tests to understand both Transport, and I will summarize the conclusion of our findings. This is a more in depth look into transport units, and we are already assuming you have basic knowledge of how to use one. This finding is a work in progress and will be refined more with new information if provided. Air Transport and Water Transport Game Mechanics The transport unit (air or water) behaves as any other unit. The TB chances affect whether the transport unit will make it. It does not matter if you are on land or water, as long as you unload your units onto land, they will not be destroyed. The transport unit however, may be destroyed in the process if your enemy(ies) happens to attack them. If you load then unload, then your units has potential to be destroyed by the attacking unit based on TB chances. If transport unit moves out of range of the attacker, they will be safe for the most part. Having a unit within an air transport on water close to another unit within an air transport on water, will form a wall between the two units on the next turn. You can form a wall on water with units if you leave them behind from your transport at regular wall intervals.

Thx for info! Think that's a recent change, the fact that units on transports won't be killed if they make it to land. Good to know!

I also find that if you Air Transport/Sea Transport(Anchored) on land the unit within the transport will defend it.

Did you guys test whether the amount of units inside a transport impacts the chance if the transport being TBed? Normally, it shouldn't but I saw this mentioned as a possibility in another thread. I know that units in the transport can arrive at destination even if the transport is destroyed. I'm just wondering because about the TB chance as it seems more difficult with full transports in my experience. They seem to make it unharmed to their destination more often than not...

Well, it was hard to tell whether or not it does, since TB only has a max of 50%, but we did try with different amount units, and, what we found above was true. So i believe the amount of unit inside does not matter, but maybe the amount of transport in the stack will be determined if they make it or not (the transport unit itself that is).

Also apparently some people dont know that you should give your transports escorts. Espeacially air transports.

Really interesting ! My question could be quite naive but what's the TB chance ? Critical ?
