Now there are a lot of SM users against non SM users who argue completely opposite. SM IS a beatable strategy, but it is also an unbalanced OP strategy too despite being beatable (which is only possible in very few situations). Anyway compare blitz to SM. SM expands faster, yet blitz has -2 on all defence yet SM has no defence nerf. I mean DS even has -1 on its infantry and it sucks becuase of it. Now I am simply saying why not do the same with SM just -1 def on the infantry and see what happens. I might also add giveing the bomber standard defence 6 so the bombers defends first in battles (not so sure about that because it may kill the strategy) Also I suggest if we do one or both of what I suggested above that could be a serious nerf (that is definetly needed) but that may be over kill. I would also suggest +1 def for SM milita to offer a cheaper means of defending while still being balanced(ish). One thing is certain SM the way it is is very OP and I don't want to hear that same crap from all you SM users. "oh its beatable" Yes it is but it is still unbalanced and OP. If you have a better idea of how to better balance this strat please suggest it. This is just a thought it could be tweaked.

Blitzkrieg was just changed to -1 defence instead of -2 defence. But since I don't play maps which include aerial units much I can't really have much of an opinion on this.

It's versatile, it can do nearly everything. But you could just stop playing 15k+ cash games where anything that is expensive becomes easy to spam. In 3k, 5k, and 10k, SM is balanced and needs rich countries to support itself or it will die way too early to the cheaper spam strategies. Nerfing the defence will ruin its balance on eu+ 3vs3's(where all clan wars take place atm). Bombers used to have 6 defence, it was nerfed to current 5 because people were just spamming SM bombers to defend, then attacking with them next turn. DS infantry was nerfed for a reason--because its helicopters have the ability to transport marines and it needed the nerf or it would overtake everything. You don't even need to buy air transports with it because of that ability. Switching 1 def point from infantry to militia is interesting but air transporting militia has always been one of the key factors in SM. It would probably make it stronger. A lot stronger. No support. It is the player's view of Sky Menace that makes you think it is over powered. It is easily thwarted in all situations if the SM user is a weak player. Just the same with every other strategy. Plus you've made other threads about this, no need to make multiple.

I don't I do recall saying it is beatable but not easily. Only if you happen to have the right strat and pick the right country that is really the only good way. SM expands into rich countries too easily and quickly that even blitz has a hard time keeping up. (Didn't know it only has -1 def now awsome.) Anyway other then that -1 def for infantry which I don't see haveing much of an effect anyway becuase of how people play SM. Other then that I don't know what else to do to Balance it which is probably why it is the way it is, no one else knows either.

Yeah like I said SM is beatable in very rare cases. Once a SM player is established then he wins simply put. I think even a mediocre SM player with funds is every players worst nightmare lol. Anyway like I said I don't want the same old crap I actually want ideas on how to balane this issue rather then just saying suck it up.
