It was a good map, why was it removed? Only reason I didn't play it more was due to time constraints.

Sadly the map being withdrawn only punishes the ones that can have no influence on the above. Admins or Moderators do not suffer from its withdrawal only the players who enjoy the map. Basically Tik is weakening his leverage (ie his skills) as the longer it is withdrawn the less people will understand that the map is superior, once people forget it exists the argument ''our content is keeping players/making money'' will not be true and admins will care even less. Its a bad strategy to get what he wants.

@Tik please Man up swallow your pride and let the people who enjoy your map play it, after all you don't gain anything from the map except the knowledge people respect it and enjoy playing it right?

Are you implying that mods / admins doesn't get consequence of their actions toward us, the community? That they can dict us rules, and we either follow or leave?

In a short interval of time, there would'be no noticeable difference. Just one player / group of players quit playing.

The biggest harm comes in the long run, when that player's ideas are missing. When that player's map is missing. When that player's skill is being missing. The administration can brag about how AW is getting more and more players, but they had just give out quality for quantity. How? By putting rules and decline negotiation.

The intellectual part of the game is leaving. It is unavoidable that someone's leaves the game, sure, but there are just so many way to stop this brain drain.

1) The first one is by recognizing every user as equal, with the same rights as the others. It is just too often that a moderator's opinion wort 100x more than a regular player. Argumentum ad verecundiam !

2) If every user have the same rights, then every user is able to opine in a thread and be taken into consideration, doesn't matter how ridiculous is his opinion. Because after all, we do have mechanics for troll threads, and they are written in the rules.

3) Before taking any decision, admins shouldn't go to mods. They should go to the community. Just look at that blitz Nerf... Same thing was going to happen with RA, if crey didn't had stand up for us.

4) Negotiation is the key to an agreement. When you recognize a part as equal, you don't look to approve your proposal as it is. You rather look for a solution that is acceptable not only for you, but also tolerated or partial agreed by the other party (this, because fully agree between both parties may be too idealist). This mean your initial proposal won't get approved as it is.

As long as the said above is not implemented, this community will keep suffering from brain drain. I wonder if Admins did even tried to talk with the MapMakers about the new ToS. You know what? No. They went to mods, and mods took the decision. At the end of the day,the admins will take their decision based in what mods would like, and not in what the rest of the community would like.

Shut up, moderators don't care which maps are played, and please enlighten me on the 'consequences' of this withdrawal - only ones are the people, they are suffering the consequences not the nasty nasty mods

This is a misconception, tik-tok took down the map to improve it and in the process he did a lot of changes that made the map unbalanced, currently he has no time to balance it again.

The only alternative is for him to allow a map-maker to clone the map and fix it for him.

1). Yes the same person who was one of the first to make maps, one of the only people who tries to change with creations away from stock map competitive games, Ya sure clovis nice objective reasoning,

Yes as you correctly said i am a former mod and i was part of the issue. My opinion that admin and mod team acted justly on the matter still stands. Brat map makers who wanna blackmail atwar with their maps should go home and play with their toys, nobody cares. As for tik tok. the real reason he is not making ww2 available is that he fucked the map up because he is a stupid noob and he cant fix it, thats why he is in hiding.
