What's with the mod hate?

Ever since e mare and Madara became mods, I've been seeing a lot of turmoil and hate in the community against them...
What did they do that makes a lot of people loudly disagree with the admins decisions? (appointing them mods of course)

If anyone could give me a clear answer, I'd appreciate it.

People get butthurt when someone becomes mod that they don't like. They also have a sense of entitlement. They think that because they bought premium features or because they simply exist, that they should have a say in/determine a business' administrative decision. It's a perfectly natural cycle. Come back in 6 months and you will see a different set of players raging about another set of mods.

Well I can definitely say I am glad e mare is mod now. I've played with him in the past, and he's a great person. Madara I don't know, but I'm sure he's good too if the admins appointed him. Wish it could go on without arguing among people, especially over a decision that was carefully thought over and well-exicuted.

I personally dont hate anyone of them but you know what i hate?Its the most annoying hing EVER...You ask them smth with message or talk to them,they see it and they dont fucking respond............. X.X

Well, I for one am currently satisfied with the actions of mods, as I haven't seen any real reason to do otherwise (especially with the new mods).

Hey, I'm not arguing that there aren't mods that are pricks (there are) or that they should be immune from criticism. I do however think the idea that a community vote would result in a more just or functional mod team is laughable.

- we can easily say that the community vote is laughable. E.g., people in a clan won't vote on their own( at least that's unlikely), they will go with what the leaders of the clan voted for.
And with that, you'd get largely biased votes, for people who, in this case, are liked by the clan leaders.

Madara a good mod who's not scared to mute when people spam or abuse.
e Mare a very helpful mod who always replies to you're questions/problems.

And in the end non of us have something to say about it. So why even bother.

How about the fact that the WHOLE competitive community has been asking for a competitive player mod for 2 years now, one who will be both active in his mod duties and in game and knows about the game and its mechanics . And you got Lao, one of the most skilled and knowledgeable all around players ever, extremely active, who has researched deeply into the games mechanics, more than most and at the same time is cute, friendly, helpfull, smart, talkative, funny, is an Illyrian and a ginger!!!

This is as good as it gets! What the fuck else would you possibly want

P.S. Totally serious sentence following. You guys should be very gratefull you have Laochra in the mod team. Everytime i log in to say hi to him, i m like woah you r still a mod lol (keep it to myself as to not discourage him..). Too much work, not barely enough return. He will quit and you will cri.

I would rather want an inactive, mature and fair mod that an active, cute, friendly, helpfull, smart, talkative, funny,illyrian and gringer mod even if the fair mod will only be 15 minutes on per day. At least he would'be more than a man with a blue symbol and a "~" in-game.

Now after you'be say w/e you wanted to, let me evaluate Laochra on my own criterias:

1) From a timezone needed = NO.
2) Active = YES
3) Have knowledge about the game mechanics = YES.
4) Mature = YES (Even tough being rancorous is not mature at all. But guess it is just a personality... ).
5) Professional = NO.
6) Fair = NO.
7) Helpful = NO
8) Willingness to solve problems = NO.

I'll provide you explanation and proof of any one of those eights if you need.
