stop giving him glory of a fake "reign of terror" he'll be happy to hear that lol he was nowhere near close to have a reign of terror. Yesterday morning he got a PM from Ivan telling him he was no longer mod.

So, that would mean he was here just because of terror-moderating and bitching on us who never had any bigger issue with moderators until he came?
Look at Acquiesce and Bargain, for example, who retired from a mod position on their own and continue being active or less active, but they are still here with us, completing our community. They have a base as players which was polished by good moderating, so they stayed strong and friendly characters of our community which wouldnt be same without them.
Now ask yourself who is e-mare now, when his terror is ended by admins?
Where is his base as normal player?
Why community doesn't need him as it needs Acquiesce for example?


Let me say one fact which cannot be forgotten:
Soldier001 is still banned for almost 5 months because of saying his real life name on chat.

So, because of e Mare, we lost one of the most active and one of the most friendly players of this game who was a huge part of competitive scene, especially in duels and clanwars.
I really miss that guy and when I asked e Mare to unban him finally, he responded his standard bitchy negative comment how community is better without him.

It is only one of thousands reasons why I will never give a shit if he leaves atWar. Whatsmore, I will beg him to leave, nobody needs that frustrated jerk who is just a miserable personalitiy without moderator powers. And it may be a mirror of his real life frustration and complexes.

He punished soldier for breaking the rules.
Why is that in this world people want their crimes to go unpunished?

And did you ever think maybe he is just doing his job unlike the other mods, and that's why you guys are hating on him?

If I really wish death for him, I would be in front of his house with 15 bombs and a bazooka.
Since I am at my house commenting on a virtual game forums, that would mean you need to take things less serious.

Yes, he punished Soldier reasonably for breaking AW rules.
But in law and justice, problems start when:
- Someone doesn't get a proper punishment for breaking the rules
- Someone gets an unproper (read too heavy) punishment for a miserable rulebreak

And yes, I thought about that, but it is not true.
There are mods who are punishing and controlling everything, but they are still mostly liked by community.
Why?
They have a clear friendly access to anyone, like all the normal people, while e Mare has shown a huuuuuuge disrespect to plenty of players just because he was sitting on a mod seat. He was taking things too serious, I would say idiotically serious, when he is able to ban the most active player permantently because of saying his RL name on chat, like who the hell cares if your name is Matthew or Daniel.

Compare it with real life shitty justice (here is an example from Croatia):
CASE 1: A normal fisher catches too much seashells - goes in prison for 8 months
CASE 2: A some 'big boy' kills 4 people in traffic - goes in prison for 0 days cuz he has much money

Case 3: Police found 1g of marijuana in my friends pocket - he went in jail for 3 months
CASE 4: 2 guys brutally beaten up my friend and he died 3 days after - they didn't go in prison just because they have driven him in front of the hospital

It is why people hate judges, because they are criminals who are controlled only by power and money, not by justice.
e Mare was controlled about thought that he has a power, so Soldier was, and still is, banned only for saying his retarded name.

Clear miscalculation seriousness of the rulebreak commited by Soldier, which is very bad for a moderator. But I repeat, it is not only Soldier's case.

Although I do think that e Mare had done wrong enough for deserve the demotion, I am forced to disagree with you about Soldier.

You only know one part of the history. I don't remember who (I think crey) posted the screenshot, but after getting banned (NOT Permaban), Soldier used a proxy to keep trolling. e Mare only permabanned him after Soldier by himself admit that he used a proxy. That of course deserves a ban.

I though at the start that it was way too harsh but it was only because I didn't knew the rest of the history. I consider Soldier as a friend and one of the few people stronger than me but I have to admit that he went too far with the proxy. It was very well deserved.

Soldier had one foot in the coffin by this time, he made up some story about having cancer or something and went inactive for 3 months before this, when he came back he wasn't the same he did not give a shit anymore and went full troll. (Trolling Emare) who deserved to be stood up to, but that none my business. He was indeed given a two week ban, then raised to permanently ban for using a proxy, it's sad to see soldier go but like I said he was done with thus game anyways I'll miss him.

he used proxy? if i remember he thought e mare was from lithuania and i thought he was from finland, he then went on his alt and pmd e mare on lithuanian using translator, thats how he proved he was from lithuania.

Also i was muted for a day just for saying in room chat that soldier is banned so theres that.

If e-mare abandons the game now that he is no longer a mod, it will be pretty clear he doesnt care much about atwar. I would like him to continue to be active to prove the people wrong.

As for him being bad mod or not , i have no personal opinion, but when 60 people upvote a jew, theres probably something to it...
