New Unit: Land Transport We already have naval and air transports in the game why not add land transports. Cost: 300 Max attack: 1 Max defence: 2 After-roll: 3 Hit points: 7 (10 with safer transportation upgrade) Weekly cost: 30 Range: 6 Capacity: 5 (3 or 4 depending on purchased upgrades) Very standard settings here, land transports get half the range of air transports and half the cost but with the same capacity. This unit would add a new dimension to Afterwind having to prioritize the purchasing of units and upgrades later on. Also it would extra strategy considering players would need to over think which is better to buy land or air transports? New Unit: Cruiser A warship with a main purpose of accomplishing long distance naval missions. Cruisers are faster than most naval types but have weaker attack power. Great for detecting submarines. Cost: 400 Max attack: 4 Max defence: 5 After-roll: 3 Hit points: 7 (10 with safer transportation upgrade) Weekly cost: 40 Range: 20 Capacity: 0 This unit could add extra diversity to naval warfare. New strategy: Helicopter Chief +7 range to helicopters (same as regular bombers) +1 attack to helicopters (7) +1 defence to helicopters (6) +3 capacity to helicopters (3) Also their effectiveness against infantry and militia remains ---------------------------------------------- -1 attack to tanks -1 defence to infantry

Land transport honestly seems to just be a nerfed air transport.

Just one APC? That's the problem, units are meant to represent a bit more than individual soldiers/tanks/whatever. A mechanised infantry unit is the only thing that comes to mind but that still means infantry is involved and this may confuse people. Simply put, there is no way around this due to the problem of a lack of words. The necessity of what's practically a nerfed air transport is debatable too, but let's see what the developers have to say if they speak up at all.

Fleet of APCs..whatever, that's like saying to reject a bomber because its "just one plane" -- I think youre being a bit too literal there Yoba. They said to imagine the infantry were already in the land transports/apcs. I cant find the thread at the moment but its around someplace.
