Submarines and marines

In all strategies except MoS and NC submarines and marines have equal attack, and it is a known fact that in battle phase the unit with the highest attack attacks first and dies first. However in all battles marines are chosen first to attack and die and this is defeating the purpose of a strategic stealth attack in strategies other than MoS and NC, since you do not want to overkill in a game you wish to win. I thought this might be due to marines having higher ARB and thus attack+arb are calculated in order to determine which unit goes first, this is true on my account since I own lucky marines, giving +1 arb edge comparted to submarines. However I can recall that before this upgrade marines still died first. Perhaps you can add some restriction on this so submarines get first hit? In all 10 examples it is shown that it's not 50% who gets to attack first (too big a sample) due to equal attack.

For all of these strategies, If you make the submarines hit (making the marines leave the stack then hitting with subs, then moving marines in) it will always attack with submarines first. However I still think It would be better if subs at least had a 50% or 100% chance to hit before marines, as newer players(and some older) would not know the trick mentioned above.

I lose 30 marines oponent got empty city in los Angeles ,i have 10 submarines left if they atack first i will take los angeles . would be nice if submarines atack first or to be able to take city with submarines

Indeed.

Dont agree.. maybe the last marine should stay alive and it should switch or something but I would rather in any way shape or form have the marines die first... since they and why cheaper then any sub

You're missing the point, the fact is marines die before subs and if all of them die you don't get the city, try reading the post

Totally agree with both of these points.

Looks like this hasn't been fixed yet which makes submarines and marines combination useless for every strategy except MoS and NC.

I dont suport this suggestion.

I agree, this should be tweaked.
